What types of packaging bags can you produce?

What is an octagonal-sealed bag? What are its advantages?

Octagonal stand-up pouches, also known as flat-bottom pouches, feature a square, flat bottom with accordion-style folds on both sides, resulting in a total of eight sealed edges. Their greatest advantages are:

Solids that require repeated opening and closing (e.g., nuts, pet food): We strongly recommend stand-up zipper pouches, which preserve freshness, protect against moisture, and offer a great opening experience.

 

For high-value products requiring strong visual appeal (e.g., specialty coffee beans, bulk pet food): Octal-seal bags are the top choice and can be equipped with one-way vent valves.

 

For high-speed automated packaging lines (e.g., sunflower seeds, instant powders): Choose center-seal or three-side-seal roll stock for excellent adaptability and high efficiency.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom packaging bags?

We understand the risks involved in launching new products, so we’re very flexible when it comes to minimum order quantities. Typically, gravure-printed laminated bags have a certain minimum order quantity, which depends on the size of your bags. However, we can use digital printing to produce small-batch prototypes or initial production runs for you. This approach keeps costs under control and ensures colors that closely match mass-production results, helping you quickly test the market at a low cost.

How much does a prototype cost? How long does it take?

Cost: We charge a reasonable prototyping fee based on the bag style, size, and manufacturing process.

 

Turnaround Time: Samples of bags from our existing pattern library can be shipped out quickly; prototyping for new bag styles is typically completed within 7–10 business days after we receive the confirmed design draft.

Can you add accessories such as zippers, mouthpieces, and air vents?

Absolutely. This is part of our manufacturing capabilities:

 

Zippers: We can install interlocking zippers with a crisp feel and anti-jam protection; we also offer easy-tear zippers.

 

Spouts: We offer high-barrier spouts in a variety of sizes and configurations.

 

Vent Valves: One-way vent valves specifically designed for coffee bean packaging allow air to escape but not to enter.

 

Other: Rounded corner die-cutting, hanging holes, and transparent windows can all be accommodated.

What is the process for collaboration?

Our process is clear and transparent, consisting of five steps:

 

Requirement Discussion: You provide the contents, desired dimensions, materials, and bag style. If you’re unsure which bag style to choose, we can also recommend styles and materials.

 

Design/Artwork: You provide the design draft, or we can assist in coordinating with a designer.

 

Artwork Approval: We produce the design draft for you to review and sign off on the details.

 

Mass Production: Once the design is approved, we begin mass production with quality control throughout the entire process.

 

Shipping: Upon completion of production, we deliver the goods according to the agreed-upon method.

I don't have a design draft myself. Could you help me design it?

We offer basic design adjustments and typesetting services. If you need a complete visual design for your brand packaging, we also have long-term design partners who can provide you with a one-stop service—from the logo to the final packaging artwork—ensuring that the files are ready for printing without any errors.

How can we ensure the quality of packaging bags and food safety?

Quality is our lifeline. We maintain strict control across three key stages:

 

Strict Raw Material Selection: All materials that come into contact with food are brand-new and comply with national food packaging safety standards; we can provide relevant test reports.

 

Full In-Line Inspection: During the bag-making process, in-line quality control is implemented at key stages to test heat-seal strength and dimensional deviations; for special orders, vacuum leak tests can be conducted.

 

Final Inspection Before Shipment: Random inspections are conducted before products leave the factory to ensure compliance with standards for drop resistance, pressure resistance, and seal integrity. If a quality issue is confirmed to be caused by our production process, we will take full responsibility without reservation.

What are the lead times for prototypes and mass production, respectively?

Prototyping: Approximately 5–7 business days.

 

Mass Production: For standard bag styles, delivery typically takes 7–15 business days after the sample is approved, depending on the complexity of the manufacturing process and the order quantity. We can coordinate production scheduling for rush orders and will do our utmost to accommodate your launch schedule.
